The War/ Der Krieg: First event this weekend.

UPDATE: The Server ist kaput and this may not happen. I'm gonna have to switch to a different rental server and start all over again loading the mods onto the ftp. So best case scenario I will get that all done by tomorrow night, worst case probably Sunday. Thanks for your patience guys. It's been about three weeks of work and around 70$ so far.



Hello All,

The first event for The War / Der Krieg! will be on Saturday and Sunday 9pm Eastern time. We will play through all the maps so people can get familiar with them. Also you will be able to play the 5 special classes before they are restricted when the first battle starts.

This will be hosted on the [JONES] public server (208.100.37.122)

Classes:

Sanitäter/ Medic - Type !class_medic in console and MUST choose rifleman/grenadier with the suicide box checked to respawn as a medic. Type !heal in consol to heal some one. Best bet is to bind that to a key (IE. bind a !heal)

Flamethrower - Type !class_flame in console and MUST choose rifleman/grenadier with the suicide box checked to respawn as a flamethrower. Use !flame to shoot fire. Best bet again is to bind that to a key.

Pioneer/ Engineer - Type !class_engineer in console and MUST choose rifleman/grenadier with the suicide box checked to respawn as a Pio/Eng. Use !plant to plant a tnt charge. Use !det to detonate that charge.

Recon - Type !class_recon in console and MUST choose rifleman/grenadier with the suicide box checked to respawn as a Recon Use !airstrike to call in an airstrike. Only 2 can be used per life.

Spy - Pick Grenadier/ Rifleman and type in !camo in team chat and choose Allied or Axis skin. None of the other options may be used.

brock this sounds awesome dude. you're telling me there are medics, and air strike callers for DOD:S?

...seems logical. I played on several boards (Strand, a snow board) with airstrikes, and i played on some server where kills/pts=skulls, skulls can be traded for health, or an enemy uniform. so the spy sounds awesome.

..but yea, half of those boards i never played or heard of. this is awesome dude. im real excited.
