Yes, Battlefield Bad Company 2 got dedicated server! So how about ego gets an server there when its released?

Battlefield servers have always been expensive because it goes by price per slot of the player instead of price for a server instance. I do not see this happening if it hasn't with the other battlefield games. Also its not only the server issue its also player base and is it worth eGO investing donation money into getting it set up. While I would love the idea of having a server set up for any battlefield series the fact of how much it costs, the amount of members or players who would actually play, a different admin system counter balances the good in having one set up in the first place.

If you truly believe it can be done. Get all the info. Come up with a proposal and submit it in the dropbox so leadership can decide. That is what I recommend.

Yea well Battlefield: Vietnam 64 player server cost over 80 dollars a month so Bad Company would cost it or more.

yea....may be expensive but it definitely looks like a sick game, got the beta key for PS3 (one of a lucky few) and will be testing it out tomorrow.......will let you guys know how the beta goes.

This is expected to be one of the top games of the year so it may be a good idea in terms of attracting a whole new crowd.

I've got my code for the PS3 beta, so I'll be able to check it out in the next couple days.

I'll definitely be getting the PC version when it comes out though.

There will be a xb360 and PC beta next month TxT. Its open beta but we all know what that means if they go with fileplanet to give out keys. Its a "PAID OPEN BETA" because you need to have the paid base subscription to fileplanet not a free account.

There is no Xbox 360 beta. There's a Xbox 360 demo coming out early 2010. The PS3 beta starts today (w00t, can't wait to play), and the PC beta starts next month (which is an open beta). Also, you don't need to be a subscriber to get a key from Fileplanet. They have times where they give out beta keys for free users (thats how I got my key).

As of 6:39 AM PST, they have keys available to free users.

Omg yea....just got off from playing, this game is SICK!!!! all i can say is that it may be better than MAG, i havn't played MAG but the squad i was with said that MAG sucked
