BIO - I would suggest that you not listen to these characters, they'll fill your head with nonsense

You might not want to use the RPG the first time you play, you'll be getting some TKs if you do... I personally would go with the AK74u or the AK47. Also you can tryout the sniper class, keeps you on the back lines while you get used to the controls and such.

thanks guys...i have one question that i havent been able to find the answer to...do you respawn or is it like CSS where you dont respawn until the next round...oh...and smurf...there are a lot of weapons i stay away from when ff is on...haha...any explosives included...lol...i think the biggest adjustment will be gettin used to the iron sites...

Oh yeah... I completely forgot about DoD not having iron sights.

Its not like CSS, you do respawn but there is a 30 second wait (depending on the map)

yeah...dod only has iron sites on the M1 and K98...and thats the "secondary fire" option...im glad that there is respawn...even if it takes 30 sec's...the no respawn is the reason i dont play CSS

well...bad news...i spent almost 3 hrs downloading the game only to find out that my vid card wont run it...i thought it might at least run it and the graphics would be crappy but no joy...so ill be comin in to insurgency once i get a new vid card...

And when you are playing with Death_Blade, make sure he doesnt have a sniper and he is on the opposite team or you wont be able to move at all

lol try updating your drivers and then before launching it right click on it in you My Games tab and select launch option the type as follow "-dxlevel 81" (without quotes) If that doesnt work type the same thing but use 70.

If you're playing on a desktop, you could always try a small overclock to see if you can't get it to run. It's a bit of a dicey thing, as overclocking always is. I actually overclock to play, and I'm on a laptop which is even riskier xD. Oh well, it's been running alright for me and my video card's only an ATi Mobility Radeon 9600 (64Mb VRAM). I think the game calls for 128Mb VRAM, so the fact that I can play at all pleases me. Of course, the only map I can come even close to getting a playable frames/second rate on is Dust2, but it runs so smooth on that map that it doesn't matter too much to me ^^. If you do plan to overclock, I recommend searching google for people who have overclocked your *exact* video card, and only upping your clock speeds a little bit at a time, with lots of testing. Takes a little while to find your max Core and Memory clock this way, but it's the safest way.

how can i over clock my laptop. i have 128mb-1349mb allocated memory intel graphics card. and i can play INS without fps lag on any map except dust2.
