BEWARE!!!!! If you get a private message in Steam from a friend asking you to join their group, IT IS A HACKER!!!!!
Basicly a message appears in a chat window from someone on your friend list, asking you to join their group, then they are offline. It then takes you to the Steampowered website. But its a fake site. This happend to me a year ago and it took me a week to get my account un hijacked. When you log into the fake steam site and enter your login and password, nothing happens. You then go to log into your account and you cant get in. The hijackers then change your email address, password and you cant even recover your account info.
Be careful people. If you cant verify the person that sends you a steam chat, CLOSE IT!!!
