This game is.... WOW. It is by far one of the best, if not the best looking game I have ever played. It has solid shooter mechanics, and a solid UI. I think there is a little tweaking to be done, but wow. This is a must try. It won't be for everyone, and it takes a little bit of learning since you just kinda jump into a level, but it is really a solid game.

I'll be playing through the demo a few more times and post some screens to show you guys how incredible this looks.

Also it supports DX11 and full 3D. I may actually buy a 3D setup just for this game.

Did you play crysis on max? I mean this game looks good, but not that good ( being crysis good )

Yeah. I maxed out Crysis, I just didn't feel like Crysis kept up the feel of the atmosphere as well as this game does. It had a lot of repetition in the design and foliage. Which honestly, is what Crysis does best. Take a look at the editor's ability to automatically generate entire maps with a few clicks. Avatar just felt more up close and detail oriented, where Crysis was incredible in its size and great models/effects/animations. Avatar seems to have a more developed and changing atmosphere.

I think both did an incredible job with the visuals, and they both run extremely well for me, I just think they're great for different reasons. And I do prefer the looks of Avatar as far as Atmosphere.

I kind of look at it like this.

Crysis is a beautiful look at a gorgeous seaside village. Avatar is a view from the street looking at a single home next to the ocean in the same village.
Both are stunning, but I can take in more detail from the streetside view.
 
8 for graphics is a little harsh, from what I've seen It would have made a good movie visually around 7 - 8 years ago from pixar.. a low budget good movie at least..the irony being it is one now ahem.The visuals are vibrant and energetic, from the trailers it seems cinematic too. Great review though, easy reading.I can't believe somebody gave this [omitted] game a rating as high as 7.I don't get the rating system on this site. Oh well.

Each have they point of view , so far i never liked game based on movie since its always better seeing the movie than playing it lol. So far its remind me borderlands in some details.
 
Wow I have to say the graphics look in some aspects photo-realistic (the vegetation). Might have to go pick this up, love the movie (saw in IMAX 3d)... though I dont know if Ill like it in regular 2D ... *sigh* oh well...

The movie is quite different from the game(which is what ace fisher is talking about here) and the movie itself in 3D is soooo different than just watching a trailer, its amazing is an understatement, not low budget and not a B movie, if you havent seen it then dont critique it.
