If you like your iPod touch then I'd assume you'd like the iPhone. I personally don't have the iPhone (I do have a Touch), but the only real difference is you can call/text people and you have a camera. I'm sure the phone bill can add up - as I know there have been a lot of complaints with the amount AT&T charges.

I *would* get an iPhone but my cellphone provider wouldn't work with it unless I got an unlocked phone which would be way too expensive. It would be a lot more convenient for me if I could carry around an MP3 player/phone instead of a phone AND MP3 player.

Its a tad expensive but I can't live without my iphone 3gs. Love the device. I have two iphones on my plan. I don't use voice much so I devote all my money to unlimited text messaging and data. I average about 145$ a month for 2 iphones with unlimited texting and 550 voice. I get a 20% discount through my work though.

The i phone is really a good thing if you dont have an i touch or a good cell phone.
I have one and i love it but the "phone side" is not as good as my old motorola,but for all the apps it s really really cool.
If you have an i pod touch you dont need an iphone, buy a good cell

I have an iPhone and it's simply amazing. with the new updates the ability to jailbreak your iphone (i suggest you do just so you can customize things) it's really a great phone i have never lost service since i got the phone and i dunno i just really like it.

IMHO there is no reason to buy an ipod touch if you are already on the att network. aroudn teh same price you can get a phone and an ipod player. I havent had any problems with my iPhone. I do get dropped calls every once in awhile but i can honestly say thats happened to be on every network i have been on. The iphone has a learning curve on texting but you get very used to it. Also if you want the iphone i suggest you do what i did. wait until you have the upgrade availability and just go to att and play aroudn with the pone for like 30 minutes. I did the same and i just played aroudn with it and the more i did the more i enjoyed the phone.

But just buy something you like if you have the money and want an iphone get one. if you are unsure play around with one first then make a decision just get whatever phone makes you happy.
Also if you do get the iphone keep in mind the black one gets the finish scratched off pretty easily. My best friend and his brother both had black ones and within the first few months you could see silver scratches on the back made me glad i got the white one lol

I'm 90% sure that you have to pay for the internet on the iphone, in comparison to the itouch which gets it free.

I have a 3GS and my wife has a 3G and we both love them. Coming from a motorola/windows mobile world was a little bit of a change at first since the iPhone is iRestrictive, but Black Rain fixes that if you are so inclined.

In my opinion anything with an "i" prefix or an apple on it is over-priced. I DO however want the new google phone droid looks cool too, but I'm trying to get off of Verizon in favor of T-Mobile.

Well my sister and brother both have one, i love it though! Its amazing, im definitely going to get it when im older. (Unless there are better phones but i probably would still get iPhone).

iPhone is awesome have you not seen the ads and in england the internet is free but as some people have said the bills do add up to potentially over but who cares since its an awesome phone and you can do a lot of stuff on it, price means nothing

iphone is the best might been a tad on the money side but it pays in the long run example a wireless aircard cost you 50 bucks a month that if you don't exceed 5gig's real easy to but the iphone jailbroken the mywi app are the pdanet app kick butt for real it turns your iphone in to a wireless hotspot that you can acess internet on your laptop saving you 50 bucks a month another things is its plain unless its jailbroken trust me i hated mine until it was jailbroken and i have a program which unlocks your iphone to any carrier just a few things but you want be dissapointed

I have had an iPhone 3Gs for about 6 months. it is a magnificent device. I don't need a laptop when going on trips, I always have my phone, my iPod, my email, and web access. All in 1 device that was designed better than anything out there. My ATT coverage is not 3G, but WiFi is great, and phone coverage in MI is way better than Sprint. It is a no brainer is you have decent ATT coverage.

Actually! Blackberries are 2 times the price, so an iPhone are the way to go.

I've had my 3G for about 3-4 months, it's awesome.
