Ati 5970 outt!!!!

[blizbiggy]

yup 150+ some areas where there are lots of zombies+rain+explosions and fire i get in the 90's

5970 become more epic the more i read about it........apparantly only Anand has received bad 5970 chips and almost all the other review sites that got them have reached overclocks of over 900mhz core. One person even reached 1000mhz core on a 5970 :scared: beastly is all i can say...can't wait till non-reference cards come out that will make this an absolute monsterrrr

The reason the 5970 overclocks so well is because its got higher quality parts like VRM chips and such from what i've read. SICKK!!!

the only thing ATI needs to do is make a higher memory bus width.
sure, 256-bit is good, but it could be soooo much better.
now think if they had gone 512-bit for the 5800 series, and dual 512-bit for the 5900 series? now that is some serious graphic power.

^ The memory bus wouldn't double on a dual card.

i know, but it would have 2. so it would be dual 512's. my bad.

yea 512 would definitely help add some FPS there......atleast a decent amount because if you look at 5770 and 4890......the 256 bit on the 4890 helps like with a boost of 16 FPS and the 5770 has faster clocked memory too, everything else is the same pretty much.
