I don't know Stickyfinger, but my prayers are with him. No one should have to suffer through cancer, be it the victim or their loved ones. I lost my father when I was 16 to a brain tumor, so my sympathy is with you. I hope he makes a speedy and full recover.

Hi all,

This is Mike once again. And since i have been checking Chris's email for him (by request), i have noticed the messages you have all sent. I should have mentioned a few things when i first started this thread, but just was numb from what is going on to think of it.

Chris is not in any pain, and is really in great spirits for a person going through all of this. They have him in a room with another man with some type of cancer, but the guy doesn't have any family, so Chris is making sure, that whenever we bring him stuff, we bring the other guy (George), the same. The only thing pissing Chris off it seems, is that he isn't able to get online, and that is because they are saying there are certain instruments in the hospital that are sensitive, and could cause some problems, so it would be better if he didn't use a laptop or his netbook.

I will be copy pasting everything in this thread as well and printing it out for him to read. i know regardless of his actions, that he really is worried, and all these nice things you say, will in fact cheer him up. I will most likely be at his house everyday making sure he gets the emails from business related things, so i will always check here, and update as i go.

On a side note, and i think all of you will get a kick out of this, Chris refuses to wear hospital clothes, said it depresses him, and the hospital has no problem for him wearing regular clothing when not taking tests so he sent me on a mission to his house, to make sure he had some comfortable sweat pants, and a few t-shirts. Guess what 3 t-shirts i had to get? if you guessed his 3 eGO black ones, you are right. His wife is with him, so im making sure they are washed and ready for wear.

p.s. I will be staying at his house a bunch while he is away, taking care of his dog, so you might see me logging on his game account thing, and trying out some of the stuff he plays, feel free to say hello, and ask anything you might be wondering.

The thing to remember here is cancer can, and is usually, beaten. I'm glad he has someone like you, and the rest of his family, to count on. Best of luck, stay positive, we are ALL pulling for you Sticky!

Chris will be having surgery to remove the mass, and some of the tissue around it. He will be operated on Tuesday morning. The only fear is the cancer cells could possibly travel through his lymph nodes, and the system they connect , and spread to other parts of the body. BUT, if all goes well Tuesday, Chris should be home in a week or so. I have given him the print out of all the good wishes here, and the ones he has gotten over the steam, it really made him happy. He is wearing his eGO t-shirt (he wanted you all to know this), and said thank you for the support, and can't wait to be home playing some games with you all. Even after he gets homes though he has a long process to make sure the cancer does not come back, chemotherapy, radiation, and that type of stuff. So please keep the prayers coming.
