Whats wrong with my graphics card?

Today, after Zombie Panic Source crashed with the failed to lock vertex buffer Cmdirectx8::lockvertexbuffer my screen looks like the image below and I my screen flicks on and off every minute or so to say "Display device nvlddmxm stopped responding, but was recovered."

Would you mind posting detailed computer specs (if it's custom) or a manufacture and model number?

That would greatly assist anyone in the forum to help you with your problem.

Well did you update your drivers recently? If not update them, if you did roll back to a past version. I had the same problem but with a different game some time ago, a quick reinstall fixed everything.

80% of these problems are due to failing overclocks. So if you are, just lower it some. And if it's factory overclocked, do the same thing.
