L4D2 and INS

my friend wants INS. He bought L4D2 and it says he needs a base game to play INS. Will INS not work with L4D2? the first one does and the L4D2 forums said it came with SDK. Quote "A new, more powerful SDK will be included with Left 4 Dead 2. In the new kit, modders will be able to affect the weather, adjust the AID?s behavior, and more."

hl2 or tf2, will let him play it i'm not sure of others

It should work, But it the odd case it doesn't let me know - find me on steam, I think I might know some things that could help.

someone told me l4d2 was orange box but tf2 is on orange box and still works. L4d2 come with SDK so i dont see why it wont work.

ya i dont see why they would not put it in l4d2.

Edit: it runs on the source engine...
