My grandparents want me to pick out a Christmas present for about $50 and I'm not really sure what i want. I found this case at bestbuy for $50 but im not really sure how good it is. Ive seen other people with the illusion version of it and they all gave it good reviews. The case i currently have is really old and really bad. I have a couple extra case fans so i could fill up the extra spots in the case with fans. Thanks for the help in advance.

For $50 it is really good, but I would look at the NZXT Beta EVO for $49.99, since you say you have extra fans.

Thats a good case but I dont think my grand parents are wanting to have to order something (I dont think they have a computer). So it would be better if i could picked out something from bestbuy or Frys.com because there is a frys store near my house.

EDIT: I found this one on Frys.com for $50 after rebates. It looks like a good case but im not really sure about the brand.

Raidmax, in my opinion, is a waste of money. Their quality is on-par with a paper bag in the rain. I've never seen a PSU or case by Raidmax that didn't immediately cause fits of uncontrollable rage.

Antec, on the other hand, seems to care a bit about the quality of their products. Their air cleaning systems on a lot of their cases also help with dust related issues. I've used a few Antec cases and would use them again for certain builds.

With your special circumstances, your original choice seems best.

I have this case, well the Illusion version, and it is very cool. my CPU never gets over 40c, graphics idles at 32c, harddrive ranges from 17-23c. It has plenty of room on the inside, and the bottom mounted PSU is epic win. Overall, I'd rate it 9.9/10, I wish it had more fans :p

In that case(no pun intended), I would go with the Antec 300.

For $50, I would advise getting the Antec 300 out of every other case on the planet. Given your circumstances, it's a slam dunk.

Antec 300 all the way. I do remember seeing the Raidmax being a selected case for a $1000 PC build, but the editors also interjected several other cases that were just as equal to it. Antec is quality case maker, though I had a negative experience with the Antec P180. I use Thermaltake full tower cases, which suits me fine.

yea for $50 you can't really go wrong with that case.........unless your budget rises into a higher price range there isn't much options really

i totally agree! antec totally outdoes raidmax in their cases. i used to have a raidmax & am so glad to have gotten rid of it! i now have a cooler master & just have a small issue w/ 1 fan, but need 2 find a way 2 get 2 more fans w/ some power to them. other than that, totally lovin my new cooler master case! but ya, if i were in your shoes, i would def go w/ the antec three hundred.

Antec in my opinion is the way to go if you're looking for quality cases. I have an Antec 900 and couldn't be happier. Their cases are amazing. So I say go with the Antec 300.
