I have been in the market for a new computer and decided to go with one of our sponsors, CyberPowerPC. Their price was reasonably fair (compared to building it myself). Didn't know if it was necessary or not but I paid for the enhanced packaging and had it shipped ground. It only took them 6 days to build and quality test the system before shipping it out, and I got it in good time with no damage during shipping.

The only CON I have with the build is their "professional wiring" option. The "professional wiring" is described as:

  • [*]Creating a better cooling environment with a good air flow ventilation.
[*]Presenting the PC with a clean and sharp impression look.
[*]Easier to access all inside parts for cleaning or upgrading.
All they seem to do is group the wires together with zip ties. It does create a very clean and sleek look. However, the last part of easier access to parts and cleaning seems to be a little false. I got a much better deal elsewhere for a PCI card for a wireless adapter and was going to install it myself. When I opened the case their wiring was stretched across all extra PCI slots so tight, there was no room to move them to the side to simply plug a card in. Their tech support rep told me that the professional wiring job means that they leave no loose wires. Now I can understand that as long as the tight wires don't effect bullet 3, easy upgrading. It took about 5 additional minutes to convince them to simply send me an extension that would help create more slack to move the wires out of the way. We'll see how that turns out...I'll post back when it comes.

As long as that pans out all right I would recommend CyberPowerPC to anyone considering this type of means to acquire a new machine. The machine runs as good as you would expect

System Specs:
Intel i7-920 2.66ghz
6gb ram
EVGA Nvidia GTX 275
Asus P6T mother board

well that sucks about the wires but they have some pretty good deals on this site, i would buy something from them but they don't ship to Canada ><

I got a CyberpowerPC some time ago, similar to yours. I also got the pro wiring, but no issues with PCI slots being blocked by wires. Which wires are they? I also went with a USB wireless adapter, very easy and handy.

It's the wires connecting the rear fan to the motherboard and the power supply to the motherboard.

Yea those get to be a problem. I have a similar problem in my case with the cooling tubing and wiring intersecting and making a giant mess. But a couple months ago i cable wrapped everything and now its much less cluttered.
