im trying to create a server for a friend and i to play on without any other random people. I selected create a server and gave it a title and password. It loaded up and he tried to join numerous time with the message "server not responding". My bother is able to join from the PC in his room, how come my friend cant?

Are you setting this up as a LAN server or INTERNET server?

If internet, you're probably behind a router/firewall. You will need to find the make/model of your router and post it. I can then give you instructions to set up Static Network Address Translation entries and open ports on your firewall.
