How well does a xbox 360 USB contoller work on tf2...? is it glitchy or even worth buying to play with? your advice is appreciated... i was thinking of buying one, but i can count on eGO to give me advice:)

I've tried it once, once.
It's okay but I'm a keyboard mouse guy and from my experience there's some lag time when air blasting. The timing is a bit off, but next to that if you are already use to analog sticks then this shouldn't be to big of a problem.

I think games on the PC are made and meant for the keyboard and mouse. But I have played with another controller in TF2 and I hates it. But that's just me.

Playing a PC game with a controller is going to greatly lower your skill curve. Remember on a controller you can't rocket jump and turning corners and firing becomes less controlled/accurate.

Anything ported.....be it game controller or game title will cause lag based on interface. Add in console's limited functionality versus PC's superb wide-range and you have an explosion of lost opportunity.

Xbox ANYTHING on a PC = PENTACLE FAIL.

*NOTE: Above suggestions/posts I fully support.

why would you want to use a controller with tf2?
and I've tried using a controller once in CSS. It was laggy, and I couldn't shoot to save my life.
Keyboard & Mouse > Controller. By infinity.

Only Xbox 360 controller I use on PC is for Guitar Hero :P (which is a guitar)
