Hey those who were intrigued by the misspelling of "help," and the other people who actually plan on helping me!
I have recently reformatted to put Windows 7 on my computer and ever since then TF2 has been.. Less than smooth, for me. And by that, I mean it has been rather laggy on previously not laggy servers.
So I wondered if any of you knew what would fix this, like changing some settings, and if so, what settings and how?

This seems more of a tech help question but besides that, did you install the latest video drivers for your video card? I didn't have that problem when I reformatted my computer to Win 7. Also helps if you have multicore rendering on if you have a multiple core CPU. It gave me a huge jump in performance when it first came out.

You need halp do you, well I'm fresh out, so I'll offer some help instead.

I was running Vista Ultimate 64 bit, went to Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit, and actually, things ran faster. Apparently it had a reverse effect for you. Were you on vista or xp? I did however, after installing Win 7, reflash my bios and install the latest chipset again, if you didn't reinstall your chipset after a new os, it may be the cause. Also, reinstall your latest lan driver, video driver and sata/raid driver.

My Win 7 did some strange things until I put my chipset and other mobo related and peripheral drivers again.
