too bad blizzard sucks and is worrying too much about WoW Cataclysm or watever their new expansion is and delaying Starcraft 2 until it just never comes out

WoW generates 15 million (or more) x $15/mo so do the math... they will continue to work on WoW until it stops bringing them in so much money.

Blizzard said it will come out soon... about a year and a half ago (maybe more). My friend who plays SC now refers to things as being "Blizzard Soon" with the connotation that it's going to be a long while, because Blizzard has been saying soon for the beta to come out for a while now too. It's a shame, but I think the storyline writers are just being lazy, because most of the game mechanics have been worked out!

Meh, if it ever comes out I'd like to hope that it will be good.

let them take their time guys. Blizzard always puts out quality COMPLETE games and doesnt rush them out like other companies. You can have it come out tomorrow, be incomplete, need DLCs and patches every week, or you can wait, and have a great complete game. This is why companies rush their crap out before its done, cause people batter the company saying they are lazy and unreliable. Then the game comes out and people say the company rushed the game out and it sucks. Give them a break wont you?

Hopefully quarter 1 of next year. They probably delayed it for the big WoW expansion announcement, and get hyped generated around that. By the looks of it, it looks fairly complete, and they're probably working on competitive game play balance through testing right now. They are making WoL(Wings of Liberty, the 1st of three) noob friendlier than the last one, also making ladders for beginning players. The SP campaign will focus more on fun though, not teaching you how to play competitively (which I look forward to!)

They really can't delay it much longer, but I have no idea why they decided to make a new WoW expansion, continue SC2, AND start Diablo 3...crazy imo. Crazy in love w/money.
