TF2 at 1000 frames per second *Watches stairstab and demoman going Kah-BEWM* beautiful

I am sad now...I run TF2 around 35-50 FPS =/

They aren't really *playing* at 1000fps,rather, most likely at a normal rate. The videos were captured at 1000fps which give them the slow motion feel. When demos are rendered they make a screenshot of every frame that they are told to render, at a rate of 1000fps these 3 second clips become 3k screenshots. Then they are played back at 60fps (for the video) and appear to be super slow motion.

Nicely done video, I've seem techniques like this done for Quake 3 videos but they were edited into the video for effect instead of being the whole thing. Cool stuff =D

heh, I hear you. I used to play Quake 3 at 15fps back in the day. Against people who had 125fps n such. I thought it wasn't possible, until I saw 333fps in Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory xD

I run TF2 at about 60-80fps at 1980x1080
