Hey guys,
I have finally decided to use skins in Day of Defeat and ran into a problem with the hand skins. The problem i have is that i want to use different hand skins for the Allies and Axis,but when i try to use two different skins it defaults to one for both teams. So far the directory i have is:
D:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\myaccount\day of defeat source\dod\materials\models\weapons\v_models\hands
These are the skins i am trying to use:
Allies: http://www.fpsbanana.com/skins/27762 or http://www.fpsbanana.com/skins/16078
Axis: http://www.fpsbanana.com/skins/5680
The first link says i should rename the "v_hand.vmt" file to "v_handus.vmt" i have tried this but it did not work. Your help is much appreciated.
