Does that windows 7 popup preview ever bug you when ur working on something?..
When im working on graphics i cant STAND them popping up!..
So if your like me and like it but dont want it to pop up automatically.. HERES what you do!
1. Click Start, type Regedit.exe and press {ENTER}
2. Navigate to the following location:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ Advanced
3. Create a new DWORD (32-bit) value named ExtendedUIHoverTime
4. Double-click ExtendedUIHoverTime and click Decimal
5. To increase the hover delay to 5 seconds, type 5000. Type 10000 for 10 seconds and so forth?
I keep mine at like 5 seconds.. that way its not automatic.. but if i deliberately put my mouse on a task bar button that it shows eventually
6. Exit the Registry Editor.
7. Logoff and log back in OR.. kill and restart explorer in the Task Manager !
Voila now you have a not so annoying popup preview.
