Been messing around and trying to get a new sig finally, i wanted something on a white back ground, and since I'm Japanese I decided to use Hatori Kizumo as the bushi. the katakana is ambience as the english is more prounced, i felt that it still didnt have enough color to it so i added some blood splatter for some effect.

Tip: Never have the edge cut off. Main examples are on the bottom right, the splatter is cut off. Next example is on the bottom of your render.

What I would suggest is make your background (white), then paste it into a new document that's +30px vertically and horizontally. Make your signature as you please, but don't go too much further than that white background. Save it as a png/gif, and you're done. (Those two formats retain their transparency.)

Contrary to putty cuting off some parts of the sig is accepctable. Look at my sig shes cut off from the waist down. What I would suggest is not such a simple background unless the render really draws the eye.

It's different for yours. Yours is more technical, where as his is a render and some brushing. Trust me, if a signature is more simple (such as his) then not cutting off the render/brushing helps a lot.
