Davis, you'll also have to understand that playing on your tv is not like playing on your pc. It's going to be big, but not detail oriented. You'll see it'll be grainier then you think.............my HP DV800T laptop has an Nvidia GeForce Go 7400, And I just use the 15 pin vga out to the 15 pin vga in on the t.v............now, with a DVI or HDMI connector, you'll actually be able to output 1920 x 1080 which is true high definition. I don't know if your pc or tv are capable of this. It sounds good because console games were designed for it, but pc's and laptops.......not so much unless both your video card and tv are capable of 1920x1080......

HDMI works well since you can just plug her in and any surround sound system connected to your tv will go with it.
