a couple of months ago axel witsel (player of standard de liege) tackled marcin wasilewski (player or rsc anderlecht) in the belgian competition, the result wasilewski is out for a YEAR.

the tackle made the top 10 of most horrible soccer tackles this year.

Finally, a soccer injury that's actually legitimate. Dude didn't flop on that one <.<
 
Good injury. Soccer player right here, I love mad injuries, I'd be the guy doing it haha. The guy didn't deserve a red it was a 50/50 ball and he just missed stepped. But, people say soccer has a bunch of people flopping and it's boring.

1. People flop for advantage but refs usually call it, and people fall because they got tackled from behind, some of the injuries in soccer are life threatening such as being taken out from behind when jumping up in the air for a ball and falling on your neck, or head injuries. Peter Cech is a goal keeper for Chelsea Football Club in England and has broken his head on the post trying to a goal, and now wears a helmet so he won't do it again. In soccer, people die for their sport, people are killed over rivalries, soccer is by far the most violent game the world has ever seen. People describe soccer as a cult, because when the World Cup starts it's like time stops, everywhere in the world stores close and everyone gets together, from Africa to a small town in England and they watch the game.

2. Soccer is the most played sport in the world and the highest paid athlete in the world plays soccer. His name is Cristiano Ronaldo and he signed a contract with Real Madrid Football Club for $132 million dollars over six years.

i think he deserved the red card, if you look at the replay you see he's not going for the ball, but for the player, anyway i am a fan of rsc anderlecht so everything that's red and comes out li?ge (city where standard's homebase is) i hate :p. its a good old belgian soccer rivalry to the bone, its like lazio roma and as roma (they also hate eachother's guts :p)
 
i dont get why people say soccer is boring, most played sport in the world...

hmmmmm....so you enjoy seeing people injured and/or maimed? And people killing other people over who kicked a ball into a net more should be embraced?

and 132 million over 6 years is 22 million a year, not the richest, not bad but not the richest.
