I bought the game and I've been on and off it ever since it was released. I have pulled it out at least once every year since it came out, and some years many many times more than that.

The game was extremely good when I started playing because so many people were online. It has great re-playability with 7 different classes of character and many types within those classes. Now-a-days there aren't as many players on, so trading is more difficult but the game play is still very good.

Yeah I've played something Diablo at some point each year for well over 12 years.

No joke. I started playing Diablo 1 when I was 8, and am still playing diablo 2 today.

I remember staying up with my friends on the phone like 7 way calling. staying up til 6 then going to school. Sleep was not an option.

Favorite memory: It was around 4 in the morning. Nice and peaceful. I'm listening to some wierd al on my xbox playing diablo. Got 4 friends on the phone, doing some baal runs, one of my friends didn't make it into the run, decides to go MF. Half way through the baal run my friend starts shouting "I'VE FOUND AN SOJ! I'VE FOUND AN SOJ!!!!". So naturally we all start going YES! and asking him where he got it, that's when it starts getting bad. See it's 4 on a school night, and our parents thought we were in bed.

Best night of Diablo ever.

I've played the game on and off for about.. three or four years? Mostly with real life friends. Great fun in the winter when you're bored and sick at home.

I'm an Assassin Fiend. Assassin and Necromancer are my two favorite. I love the metal Golemn you can create with the Necromancer, and fully upgraded firetrap with the Assassin is instant kill to almost any creature in the first three acts.


Plus, Evil Cow World.

Hah, nice poll. I do indeed remember the days before Baal, long ago.

Been playing off and on for a while now, currently on the off. I like picking it up every once in a while, making a hammerdin, smiter, etc. etc. 'cause I'm just that normal. Though occasionally I like making those random builds, to play around with, or pvp.

Always play softcore, but I've acquired the taste for ladder, don't play nonladder anymore.

Also played Diablo 1, that was the stuff too hah.
