Hey. Ive been playing Zombie Mod servers since they pretty much came out. So im familiar with almost every map in cirulation past and present. And i have scoured the Zombie Mod Server Rules on eGO for confirmation of what is currently being referred to as a "Glitch".
On the map zm_graveyard, the outside graveyard's surrounding walls are moutnainrange walls, that do not form the edge of the map. I haven't much experience with Source DK but i understand how map walls work, and in Graveyard, the "Actual edge" and the "mountain range edge" are not the same.
For those that don't know, it is possible for you to force your way through an inverted slope that does not form a solid edge of the map, and is there as decoration, by simply jumping and whilst mid jump, pushing the crouch button repeatedly. In doing so you will force your-self through the wall and find yourself safely behind the wall, out of sight, and able to shoot freely at the zombies.
As far as i have read so far, there is no rule that specifically says "no glitching" on the Zombie Mod server, though i was told there was one. So if someone would like to quote it that would be great. However i would not deem this a glitch on the map graveyard. It is simply another hidden hiding spot. 70% of Zombie Maps will have some form of hidden room, or secret hide-out, and it is only possible to get to them through some form of crouching, jumping, or a combination of the both. And unless as a Zombie you are already aware of these secret rooms, there is no hope in you finding them yourself.
This then is an exact replica of the situation that im discussing. That of the jump/crouch method used to force your character through an inverted slope that does not form the edge of the map. I have written the method of how to get through the wall here, so anyone that reads this will now know what to do, but i would like clarification on this, as i find it a great spot for quietly sniping Zombies undisturbed due to the majority of the server not knowing how to access the spot. Various admins have given me different responses in game to the spot, some have said its "awesome", "genious", and a decent spot, on the other hand today i was kicked from the server for using the spot. So an official standing point would be awesome! Add my steam id (admins) if you want me to show you in further detail how to get to the spot!!!
