I have a razer product, and i have to say im happy with it, it is the razer lachesis gaming mouse. had it for awhile, never had a prob, besides when i installed win 7, they didnt have the drivers out yet. they make good products, hope you get it, and enjoy it....

Truthfully, you should look at some other brands too. Razer is good but they are just alrite when it comes to their products. I've read reviews on the megaladons and they havn't been great, they say sound quality is mediocre and the product overall isn't really sturdy and feels a bit cheap.

I would take a look at Logitech, Steelseries, and some other brands out there, they can provide better performance for either the same price or cheaper.

These are also pretty good but too bad u missed out on the black friday deal where they were only $50.

I would say go with the Logitech G35 if u have the moeny, Steelseries next because of the amazing deal and they are great headsets, then the creative last.

Yeah, their mouses are just as good as any other companies imo. Their keyboards are merely decent. And their audio products are awful if you factor in the price.

yes, was going to say their keyboard have mixed reviews, their mice aren't the greatest looking but they are good contendors.....and yes their audio products are pretty much terrible.

Many people just get Razer because they're "Razer"

A really good headset if you need 5.1 surround in a cup , maybe a bit high in price but cheaper than the Megalodons and judging from reviews the Roccat headset outperforms them.


As some already mentioned, razer audio products are not that great, especially with such high price tags. I'm speaking from personal experience since I own the Razer's Barracuda 5.1 headset and can confirm what FreakingHell wrote is pretty accurate.

Why would you spend $150 on a headset?

Also, you might want to read some reviews on a headset before you get something that expensive. Everywhere you look, it takes about some background hiss and that the mic picks up background noise. That's not very good for a $150 headset. I have a Razer Barracuda and it's awesome. The sound quality is amazing, why is the Megalodon diffrent?
