Yes, the rumblings and ramblings are true! There is now a place for you, the members, to pick the map for one of our servers! The detailed rules can be found here, and the bid thread can be found here.

This thread is the place for any public questions to be asked, polite discussion to ensue, and a perfect place to find members who support the same maps you do!

any private questions may be directed to Aneruen and Mister Adam.


Update: A little bit of FAQ

Q: Can more than one person bid on the same map?
A: Somewhat. We don't want two consecutive bids with the same map, that just causes confusion. Let that person know that you want to help win the same map and send them some money to use for the next bid.

Q: Do we have to list who contributed to the bid?
A: No. Only one person's name needs to be on the bid.

Q: What's the deal with these percentages? I hate math.
A: Sorry! I know, it's confusing. Here's a (somewhat) easier breakdown:
- Person A bids 5,000 for Map 1
- Person B must now bid at least 5,500 (10% more), and can't bid higher than 10,000 (100% more).

Q: I only play eGO maps right now, but I want to get in on the bidding! What should I do?
A: Find someone that likes a map we don't currently run! Here are some popular ones:

I love the thought that went in on this server, just wish we could get points for killing one another or for every domination get a certain amt of points ect. Seems the only way to get them are the ways suggested Either way this may be one of the servers I stay on for a while, I will just have to wait and see what maps are on.

On a serious note, I have some concerns about sniping when the clock runs out. But seeing as how this is a first for all of us, lets wait and see how it plays out.

Yes, I do know how you can also earn it with events and such but, I dont participate in events but I do get more casino cash, why is that?

come on we cant all vote for maps we had before, think about some custom maps too, the whole point of this server (i think anyway) is to give people a chance of trying out new maps i suggest some of the swamp style maps that have come out recently
