Spend those hard earned points! Play your favorite TF2 map! ​

Introducing the 24/7 Auction Server! Now you have a say in what maps you want! The server will rotate TF2 maps weekly, based on the pick of the highest bidder! Get ready to place your bids and compete against (or ally with) your fellow members for a week of your favorite TF2 map!

Here are the rules for the auction:

1. No mods will be allowed on this server. (eg. hyperspam, hide & seek, etc.)
2. Maps will run from Friday to the following Friday.
3. Maps must be eGO acceptable and comply with language and graphics guidelines. Otherwise, any map that can be easily downloaded is fair game. All maps are subject to Leadership review and change, as needed.
4. Bids will be open from Sunday at 12:01 AM (Central) to Thursday at 12:01 AM (Central).
5. Bids will be made in a thread in the TF2 Scrim forum with strictly bids only in the thread.
6. Maps chosen cannot already be in use on a 24/7 server.
7. No bidder may win two weeks in a row.
8. No map may win more than two weeks in a row, regardless of bidder.
9. Bids placed must be:
   - In increments of 250 points
   - 10% more than the previous bid
   - No more than 50% higher than the previous bid.
10. Each week, the starting bid must be at least $1000 and may be no higher than $50,000.
11. Bids over $250,000 require a 10% "good faith" payment which will either be returned (in the case of a loss) or counted toward the final bid (in the case of a win). This payment will be made at the time of the bid being posted.
12. Bids must be paid, by 12:01 AM Friday Central Time, each week to Aneruen.
13. Members who fail to pay their bids on time will receive a one month ban from participating in the auction server bidding.
14. All eGO members who are MAUL verified are welcome to participate provided they have been in the community for at least two weeks.
15. Leadership is not allowed to place bids.

How do I earn Casino Cash?

  [*]Pool points together with your friends if they want the same map

Also, Leadership may hand out casino cash when they see something they like such as members helping other members with various things or helping to start up a server.

So we bid on what map the server will run weekly? Cool I guess, but all those people who have nearly a million casino cash saved up might just keep the server running the same map for a month. I guess after about a month of being there things will iron out though.

Overall a good idea, we need more ways to spend casino cash.
