What do you think half life 3 will be like?

Explain what you think half life 3 would be like I think gordons gunna mess up and end up killing everyone! then wake up in a virtual system like from the matrix and have to live hiding from machines!

alright, here is what's going to happen (you can trust me, i know).

Gordon and Alyx are going to go retrieve the Borealis. on the way, the combine give them trouble, as always. then when they get to it, they find out that it's been stolen! the G man uses Gordon's confusion and and dissapointment to pull him back into stasis, but we find out that Alyx is one of his "minions" too, and she gets pulled in also, then the combine crush the resistance, take over completely, and set up their awesome alien planet. and then... Gordon and Alyx awake to find this new world. and that's where 4 will start.
(note, you actually can't trust me. i just remembered that i don't work for valve, sorry for the misconception)

They said they were just gunna go by half life 3 then that would be the last of all half lifes... SO THE ENDING BETTER NOT SUCK! but besides that I beleive I heard that it was coming out late 2010 but im not for sure!

Well, obviously. They said they were making a episode 3 right after episode 2, and I don't know why they would just leave us hanging on the story

But they really haven't said much about ep3.. there probably still figuring out who GMAN is..

In a Valve review I saw a few weeks ago

Well Portal has their own separate smaller dev team.
But Valve isn't a large company regarding programmers and developers. Ep3 will probably still be on the Source Engine as all the previous Episodes are about showing off the engine's capabilities.
Valve is probably doing something big behind doors. A tune up of the current engine (as L4D2 has shown) or probably their just having problems with the script.
