Unusual Crashes

My computer keeps crashing at random. There is no pattern what so ever. It doesn't matter if I'm in-game or doing nothing. The sounds freezes up (repeats the same second over and over again) and the screen goes black and the light on my moniter goes from green to yellow.

I've updated my display driver, optimized/cleaned the registry, cleaned my Hard disks, defragmented them. I've also scanned for Virus' and Spyware but I havn't found anything.

Does anyone know what this is? Or how to fix it? If someone does, please tell me so. That would be great, Thanks!

Sounds like a PSU going down I'm afraid. It could be something else though.
 
What are your computer specs?

Also, how old is your power supply?
 
You might also check and make sure that your motherboard drivers are up to date. On my old comp, right after I installed XP or Vista, if I didn't immediately install the chipset drivers it would randomly reboot.
 
Guys this is more lily a ram issue, what i woul ddo is see how much ram you have, if you have 2 sticks or more, take them all out, just add one in and try it, if it happans again repeat this steep with a different stick, I will put money on it being ram over teh psu, but to test the psu is easy, just go and remove the cdrom power, and a few case fan power and anything else you can spare 2 removes, does it still crash .... ? Frys also has a psu tester for les than 20 bucks
