so i put new skins
like scopes and Huds of the main menu
i hate it so i went and delete it
but that skin replaces something..
dont know wat
now the steam dont let me join a game from a friend
or delete something in the history
wat do i do?

open your cstrike folder and cut your materials, models, scripts folder (if you have that one) and paste in your desktop, restart the game and it should replace them with the defaults. if it doesn't you may be forced to right click on CSS while in the steam window and click delete local content. you will be required to redownload the game, starting from scratch.
before you do that option however, make sure you go to your cstrike/cfg folder and copy any autoexec file you may have so you do not need to recreate it

This is a great time to point out anouther reason to backup game files BEFORE you mod them it will really save you so much time.

This is a current steam error and has nothing to do with what you modded. I myself and others are having the same exact problem. (I do not download any skins)
