Cooler Master HAF 922

I had my last build narrowed down to the 932 or the RC690 . Used to have a huge bundle of wires blocking the bottom 140mm then figured out the case is designed to route unused cables BEHIND the motherboard which is so awesome. PSU is bottom mounted and i dont think it could have been designed any better besides a few small things not worth mentioning unless you must know.

Alrite here are some pics of my Comp and case.........

Okay so in this pic the only cables unrouted through cable management is the motherboard ATX power cable, it was too short and like the IDE cable for the burner, all the other cables you see have been routed like the GPU power cable and all that, not the cleanest job but its good enough and would be a ton worse without the cable managements because of how many unused PSU cables there are.

Heres a pic with flash off so you can see the blue glow from my Thermaltake Duorb fan on my GPU:

Get this case, you won't be disappointed, much better than cases much more expensive than it.

As of now only a 4850 overclocked to almost 4870 speeds...........i plan on getting a 5970 when the price drops but that will be a while or the 5950 when it comes out and the price is right. Im kinda disappointed i went with the 4850, shoulda got like a 4870x2 but its not too bad, runs the games i want right now. Just plan on getting more horsepower soon, probably next year when prices go down a lot on the 5970/5950.

So, here my rig! :D..

V8 is good but it honestly isn't really the best performer and there isn't much room for adding fans

You should look around more.......there are better HSF out there for around the same price or a bit more expensive

The V8 is too big to add fans? No its not. In my HAF 922, I even put a NH-D14 in it (which is amazing by the way), and I still had room for the optional 200x30mm fan on the side. Plus, I personally hated the V8's mounting system, the NH-D14 was much better, and easier to install, and much more secure. As for its size for everything else, I have 6 sticks of ram in there, and 2 dual slot big graphics cards, and everything is fine.

hey Artinz, what cpu do you have? what do you push it to? what are you temps idle/max? I just got a i5 2.66 and it's sitting idle at 30c and hitting about 50-55 on standard loads like games and applications etc at 4.0Ghz(200x20) I think i have the SE2, and the problem i have is i have high profile ram heatsinks, i have a 55-udp4 and the back fan(intake) for air to pass over the heatsink, covers up my first ram slot totally on the motherboard. I have to offset the fan on the back of the heatsink and it's still touching the ram in the first slot(g.skill ripjaws).

Back on point, it's good to know this case(the op's topic case) will fit the noctua because after putting it in a antec 900, i would worry it would not fit anything else unless i had first hand knowledge of it doing so...i looked at this case in my recent build, but a bundle with psu + case came up and i had to jump, other then that, this case looks good.

Here's some pics of my 932, I didn't bother routing half the cables though :D

I'm about to replace the stock side fan with 4x cooler master red 120's and the top fan with 3x of the same.

Oh yeah, and I just took those pictures a couple minutes ago.. Took the liberty of wiping the dust buildup off the side fan mesh and my mobo temp dropped 8C lol

Yea lol our HAF 932 cases are like dust magnets..........idk my GPU cooler gets mad dust in the HSF fins and stuff its kinda annoying, there isn't much dust inside my case in general but like my aftermarket coolers collect dust pretty badly sometimes if i don't clean it.

Yea the Noctua NH-D14 is currently like the best CPU air cooler on the market but its also like $70-90 so way more expensive.....

ill look sometime for you but im busy right now
