Red alert 3 should I buy it or not!

I was at the store and I had 60 bucks I didnt wanna buy cod 6 so i looked at red alert 3 should I get it or not

well RA 3, is a good game, just a little more on the on the strategic side, but if you like First Person Shooters, you might want to get CoD MW2 IMO

MW2 is MUCH more worthwhile than RA3


I got RA3 for free and think its a waste of time

ok Red alert 3 is a descent and a fun stata game. I bought it and the missions are fun, and everything else, a mustbuy!!

meh, I played the RA3 beta and was not impressed at all due to the sudden change in style it took (overall much more unrealistic and cartoony, I know it wasn't realistic before but IMO they got a bit too far away from reality with this one), I personally prefer my strategy games to be very realistic, ala the Total War series/Company of Heroes

RA3 taunts you with that nostalgic element that keeps you coming back to it hoping that this time you'll enjoy it like candy corn and every time you try it again you realize it's just a recycled piece of garbage. The combat is lacking and revolves solely around blobbing your units together and aggressive attacking the ground in front of your enemy. There is no bonus to flanking, and to try and tell all your anti-air units to attack an air unit is about as effective as telling a spoiled child no. And that's all this game really is. Leading spoiled children around a place with lots of shiny things for them to attack, and yet when they're being attacked they don't have the brains to do anything but sit there and cry.

I've heard a lot of postive things about Red Alert 3. I don't have it myself, I think if you liked RA 1 and 2, this shouldn't be too different. And if you like this sort of games of course

I prefer TeamFortress 2 or CS:S, but that's my opinion.

Have fun with RA 3 ( If you're going to buy it/If you've bought it ) and have fun with MW2 It's epic fail for the PC but on xbox it rules!

Its a complete 180 degrees from RA1 and RA2. The gameplay style, economy, units, unit control/management, unit abilities, and art style is completely different.
