After playing for hours and such got a soldier to level 47 beat playthrough 1 and then a little of 2 then the whole dlc. It was fun but i will not be makign another character to level unless of course i can find 4 guys that wanna play here and there. Gooooodbye Borderlands

Meh, you don't need 4 people to play Borderlands. The monsters scale with how many people you have, so just 2 people ramps up the difficulty a lot. The game really wasn't meant to be played singleplayer, it's just boring imo.

I regret paying $50 for this game. It was not worth it. More worth around $15

Quoted for truth. I expected a LOT more out of the game and I am thoroughly disappointed.

I spent $20 for Torchlight and it was a better investment than Borderlands.
:facewall:
:chair:

I bought the retail version and... it's almost impossible to play online. D:

too bad you cant sell games you have on steam. Or can you? Someone update me on this please.

I was let down myself, bought it on release day and regretted it since. For all the hype and marketing I was expecting more, so much more.

I am very glad I only rented it.
Same here, I might buy it when it drops in price or if Steam has a 50% off sale....But I don't see that happening anytime soon. I really didn't like the graphics in it at all. I'm just not a fan of the cell shading or whatever it's called, it's pretty much the same reason I didn't get Street Fighter 4.

Heh I guess I was lucky when I picked up my copy on Amazon for 20 bucks.

Anyone still playing? I'm up for a game, add me on steam, name is dpsaves.

i don't know why people have given up on this game so quickly, i still enjoy it and i got it the day it came out on PC. great game, will start a new character again once i get my new video card and experience it with the graphics ramped up to hell and back.
i notice in vent and what not i seem to always be the only person playing this game, where as when it first came out everybody and their mother were playing

Because there is no endgame content at all really, all there is after you get all the best gear (which is easy) and get to level 50 is going around killing stuff, and the game play of borderlands isn't engaging enough to keep that interesting for long.

guess you haven't played long enough, because it is not easy to get the "best gear". but to each their own. i'll be grabbing up the dlc in approx a week or so maybe so that will add to my happiness with this game too.
ah well

LOL @ all the people who wasted money on this game and gave up easily..i am still playing and still having fun even on singleplayer
