uhhh AVG found 53 of the same virus???

ok so when i ran an AVG scan as soon as it started it found 53 threats....the weird thing is...they where harmless files, such as my Mcafee.exe, toshiba files, intel files....why has it done this? It says "Virus Identified Win32/Cryptor"

EDIT: sorry bout the title, go in a hurry and forget to finish it.

Win32/Cryptor is a trojan. You should remove it immediately.

Next time please make a more descriptive thread title.

how do i remove it. it doesnt show up in my virus vault. it just says virus identified.

ok i saw that it said if the system restore file was infected doing that wouldnt work. AVG doesnt say that its infected, so would a system restore work? How bout a factory reset( making the computer like the day i bought it/formatting the pc, wiping everything pretty much)

I'd first try the system restore, if that doesn't work then format it.

k i will. im scanning with 4 different scanners atm XD. AVG ws the only one to find the 53 though..so far. im using AVG, malwarebytes, spybot S&D, Mcafee.

Kaspersky is a very good anti-virus you should try it out, and if multiple scanners are running they interfere with each other.

well, i ran AVG and Malwarebytes, then mcafee and spybot. AVG found 53 files that have been infected by the cyptor virus. malwarebytes found a trojan and removed it. so i re-scaned my pc with avg and it still found them. After it finished i clicked remove infected files. I didnt do this cause it would delete important files needed to run the pc. so i did a system restore back to the furthest date it had and so far AVG hasnt found anything. i will re-download malwarebytes and use it just to be safe. after that i will try System Mechanic free trial.
