After a year and half of my old rig, I decided to upgrade and sell the old PC.

Testing the waters here, since I don't know if there is that much interest.... but I have about half the parts now and will get the rest by Wednesday.

Here are the parts:
Processor: Core i7 920
Mobo: ASUS P6X58D
RAM: 8 gigs G-Skill Ripjaws DDR3 1600
GPU: Nvidia 9800 GT 1GB PNY XLR8 (Temp card, will be converted to PhysX later)
PSU: XFX 850W
Case: AZZA Solano 1000
Hard Drives: 2x WD 640GB AALS


As you can see, it's still not completely finished... but I'll get to it once I get some Christmas money.

How did you get 4gb of DDR3? 4/3? Bleeeh.

But yes, your card is about the only thing really lacking.

Nice case selection ;) I'm building my Solano 1000 tonight/tomorrow.
 
I had that wrong, I have 8 gigs. I bought 2 sets of 2x2GB sets on Newegg during black Friday.

And you should check out the board I bought for your rig. Future proof yourself with USB 3.0!
 
Heh, my board was $170. I'll upgrade when I see fit.

Plus there's only two ports that are 3.0 on that board, the other four are 2.0.

I don't know the prices in the stats or other places but here in scandinavia the 5850 costs about the same as a GTX 275 and I find the 5850 to be alot better than the GTX 275
