Graphics Card

as far as im aware there is no difference in the graphics cards except for the fact that the PNy has a larger memory, however, im no tech expert.

PNY card has 512mb more VRAM. EVGA has better warranties and customer service. EVGA also has the step-up program. Your call.

Well the evga one needs a power connector 6 pin while the PNY one doesnt have one n draws less power and from what i read the PNY one is just a oc'ed 9600gt n tad slower then a regular 9800GT but i may be wrong on that part.

Thrall's right; I lied.

The EVGA one is stock, while the PNY one is down-clocked to consume less power but also has 512mb more RAM.

I'd go with the EVGA one, assuming your PSU has a PCIe 6 pin connector.

^ agreed a GTS 250 would be ur best bet unless ur PSU doesnt have a 6pin connector( i could be wrong but saw some that needed one) and cant fit a 2 sloted card. It has low power consumption to only like 230-250W full load. and a GTS 250 is like a 9800GTX+. But all in all if you dont have a 6 pin connector and no cash to get a psu the PNY one would be better its only Tad slower then a regular one.

The ECS GTS 250 is a better buy...........its factory overclocked also and will give a lot better performance over the 9800gt

I have the EVGA GeForce 9500GT i recommend u get a evga... i had it for bout 1 year and i never had a problem with it... still works at is full potentiol and i get up to 250fps in source... and always above 100fps... keep in mind that graphics card isnt the only thing that matters for your gaming if you dont have a decent processor your game will still have poor fps so make sure u have a decent processor...

PewPew the GTS 250 is better but what if he can't fit a 2 sloted card in his case? now i seen some single sloted 250's on newegg like asus but they were $135 now idk if he'll spend that much but since both his choices were 109 n 119 bucks i guess it couldnt hurt. But if can spend a lil extra get the GTS 250 if cant fit 2 sloted look for single slot ones, unless you dont have a 6pin connector
