lost sound in vent

I was just recently in vent talking to a few friends who were playing WoW. I haven't played in a while due to no game card so i thought i'd stop by since i was bored. Anyway while i was talking i suddenly lost all sound in vent, i hear the noise when you connect but no one talk n it just happended after someone asked me a question. Worked fine till now.

ive had times when vent stalled my sound card out and had to restart.. i really dont know why it does. It never happens on any other voip.. lol.. double check ur vent settings too btw.. make sure the right devices are selected.. and that the devices in your sound options are correct as well. Other than that its probably the same issue im having occasionally .. like.. once a week.

I'm using Realtek 7.1 HD .. lets see if we have anything in common

im using realteak HD aswell and all settings are fine i've never touched em sides the binding key part

Sounds like an occasional glitch.. If you reboot and it doesnt come back lemme know.. ill see what else i can find..

*edit* are your drivers up to date?... what os are u using.

Don't forget the all-annoying 'MUTE' button at the bottom of your Ventrilo window. I've mistakenly muted ppl before that way.

Ah.. so true.. accidental mouse clicks or even tabbing over to it by accident and pressing space.. *ive done both*.. thanks for the bump on that one.
