Here's a cool little chart I found for hats.

81 items to get a random hat, and 112 items if you want a class specific hat. I'm gonna be here for awhile. :facewall:

2x2x3=12 weapons to get one refined metal would be much more appropriate. 27 weapons per refined metal is just ridiculous at the current drop rate. You're almost as likely to be able to randomly get anything you want.

hats are cool and all but gibs are much much better. i just wished i hadn't crafted my lucksman and fireaxe. i miss those suckers something fierce, now i gotta wait for them to redrop for me

I'm at a crossroad here i want a random hat but what if it is a medic spike hat i hate that thing and i like my beanie and panama HELP i need somebody...

Now that the Camera Beard is no more a hat. I can't craft my Football Helmet and my Camera Beard together to craft a new specific hat (Put horribly sad face here)

How to do get 2 hats to a specific hat?

Two hats = random hat.

So if it take 3 weapons to make scrap, 3 scrap to make reclaimed, 3 reclaimed to make refined and 4 refined plus token to make headgear, then it takes 104 primary weapons plus a token to make a single class headgear.

I was kind of wishing this system would output better versions of guns. Like 3 DH's would give you a random (slightly better or worse) DH.

I am convinced that most non-idlers will only get hats for their most hated classes - even with these new recipes. Or, if they create a class specific hat, it will be the ugly one - twice.
