Account Stolen?

I heard there was a leak in information in one of the Guild Wars info servers

My account has been compromised, and i'm the process of getting it back.

For someone that has never botted, or bought gold, or shared a password, don't you think this is a little fishy?

Message once you load up GW says something about phishers got passwords from other sites and is using them to try and hack GW accounts.

Something like that anyway, Launch GW and it's in bright red.

My account got hacked a few months or so ago, and I had never posted, shared, botted, or any other misc. bs that would cause this to happen. This incident was, and will remain, the fault of arenanet and ncsoft. I put a lot of time, effort, and money into the GW franchise. NCSoft and arenanet have lost a dedicated, supportive player. I have a really bad taste in my mouth from this ordeal. four years of playing ONE character. Down the train due to faulty, or nonexistent security measures. Not even a server log to track what ip hacked me. Oh well... I choose to sink all of my money into Atlantica Online now.
