spybot also has a program called teatimer.exe built into it and it protects your registry from unauthorized changes. plus it will allow you to back up your registry so you never have to worry abouti t getting corrupted.

Ok so i just got rid of 179 entaties on spybot. Going to restart in normal to see if there is a difference.

Got this from P.C wizard while on safe mode. I removed loads of malwere with Spybot but my computer is still very slow. A friend suggested Formating my computer, any thoughts regarding this.

Formatting would be the easiest way to resolve any software issues, and would completely remove that from the list.

Have you checked for any overheating? (Check canned air to blow out your case)
Also try booting with different sticks of ram in (maybe a chip is bad)
Do you hear any weird noises?

No had none of those problems, and its slow from the word go.

Then... I would say go with a format, be sure to go into safe mode and backup any important files.

If all else fails, don't throw away your computer & try going to the tech guys at Best Buy or Fry's, etc.
