CS:S Lagging.

I lag in every server i go into its like im teleporting everywhere. Its really annoying i cant even play. Anyone know the problem?

Nope i wasnt downloading anything while i was playing. i just tried to go on again same thing just skipping eveywhere

Yeah my mom usually is on her laptop but she isnt atm. Also my friends is over he has his laptop down stairs but would that affect anything??. Also about the net graph are u talking about the one in CS:S?

ya are you speaking about internet lag or FPS lag. FPS lag will be due to your in game and console settings and internet lag will mostly be with your provider/modem/router. start with power cycling your modem and router. turn them off and disconnect the power source for a couple minutes then boot it back up

My fps is 9 its usaully like 50 or so. did my graphic card go out or something?

so it isn't your internet lagging then, its graphical lag.
could be your graphics card overheating, could be too many background programs. could be things like viruses/malware/spyware, could be that your graphics card is going.

does it happen with other games, or just CSS. which other games does it happen with if any

Happens with all games...i've decided to buy a new computer. I bought this 3 years ago and i only got 50 fps i lagged a bit anyway.
