If you are thinking about 1942 server you must get the Desert combat mod up...

yes but you gotta repatch it after reinstalling it and ea doesn't support the patches anymore. i'm having a devil of a time finding all the patches up through 1.61b i think.

If your gonna patch the game to play on the eGO test server, only patch up to 1.6, if you put the 1.61b patch on you wont be able to connect

BF 1942 was so addicting and so fun, that i had to buy the collection pack when it came out.. this is the reason why i got into the 1st person shooters realm of fighting.

Well.. I've had it like 3 times.. lol after looking thro alot of old CD holders I found a CDkey and 2 Disc1's but.. no disc 2 >.<


Hey Artimus have you looked into battle field bad company 2 ?
The first version was console only which saddened me but! BFBC2 is coming out for PC ! They are going to have dedicated servers like most other battlefield games.
