I plugged it into my audio jack and put my Realtek Options to 5.1 and click "Auto Test" and only heard the left and right ding. When the others were tested I heard nothing.

My MB: http://www.asrock.com/mb/overview.asp?Model=k10n78m

The audio plug has in orange "spkr" and i plug it into the green jack on my MB. I have a Pink, Green, and Blue jack. Does that have anything to do with it? I tried the blue jack and heard nothing at all.

I researched it a little, are you sure the Headset its self is 5.1?

How do I know if it's doing that, because when I test the 5.1 in my Realtek Manager it only plays the left and right and when the others speakers I see light up on the screen I hear absolutely nothing.

Thats because your headset isnt technically a 5.1 headset. If you set it to the highest quality for a regular headset on your sound card. Once you in-game you should be able to hear directions of sound from every direction.

All right. Thank you. Going to try it with L4D2.

The sound bars for the mic hardly go up(1-3 bars). I have to raise my voice a tiny bit to make sure it gets picked up. And I don't think noise-cancellation is working(Not that it bothers me any). Mic is at 100 and +30 dB. I'm not sure how it'll sound to others during game. L4D2 test seemed to be loud though but I heard a bzzzttttttttttttttttt when not talking and barely hear it when I listen to the playback.

Not too much of a big deal I suppose. But they do emulate surround in-game though so that's great.

Edit: the L4D2 bar BARELY moves when I speak though. I don't know if it's because I have volume all the way up why it sounded decently loud to me or not.

Edit: I must admit, I really can't tell if something is behind me or not with these. All it seems to do for things behind me is make them sound really really quiet.

Make sure your mic volume is at 100% in system settings.

Are you still using 5.1 output configuration? If so, that is why it sounds really quiet (it's sending data to a speaker that doesn't exist). Make sure it's set to Headphone output.

I have it set to stereo now(2 speakers). I can't get the Headphone option since my front panel audio is messed up and my PC considers back panel speakers and front headphones. It's working now though. Thanks.
