my other problem (eGO website)

ok... so i boot up, open the net, come to ego.us, log-in and start cruising the forums

i reply here, i reply there, i start a new thread, yadayadayada.. then i click submit response/new thread and BAM.. im logged out as flavoracid and i'm just another 'anonymous' visitor with no forum priv's.. so i have to log back in

I run win xp 64x and use Firefox as my browser.

thats quite odd ive never had a problem like that before have you tried F10

I've had it go back to the home page, but never had it log me out...

sounds almost like a cookie issue to me.

Perhaps check your security settings for the site and make sure it's allowed to drop cookies to your comp?

Clear cookies/re-login to see if it's a corrupted cookie on your comp?

Any other websites give you similar issues that you've noticed?

go to tools options and delete everything like your cookies and stuff. then try it again.

jethro.. no no other sites ever gave me this issue. I'm going to do a mass dump of temp files and cookies and try this again. since i have posted this thread i haven't had the problem.. but it's not an everyday thing.. it's a ... 3x a week thing.

and godot.. if that's what you were thinking why did u tell me to hit F10.............. change your sig

Sounds like a similar problem to the closely related 'I get logged out and cant log back in right away' issue. I think that you may have either opened a new window which has ended your previouse session, or perhaps timed out - depending on your settings.
When you log in do you click "remember me"? Also, you may want to clear your cookies as you mgith be soing a soft refresh of the forum pages instead of a hard refresh. The next time you see this problem, hit F5 and do a full refresh to see if the page reloads correctly. I am hopefull that this will help, but when it comes to this website - deleting your cache is never bad.

Do you run adblocker or scriptblocker you might want to add this site to the exceptions list.
