A few days ago i left my PC and came back trying to play CS:S and it started to just disconnect me every other round.
I decided to restart steam and get back on and it continued to disconnect me. After which, i thought best to just RESTART the computer completely.
Now Steam wont even connect at ALL saying i need to re-connect with the internet, even though the internet is fine.
I looked through the "possible fixes" link steam gave me and- even though no one has messed with our computer settings- i still fiddled with the firewall, the ports
Every time i try to see if the fix worked, it says my internet "connection isnt configured to Steam"
i am not a PC wiz but am willing to take any advice as to what i may or may not be doing..any help is gladly appreciated
BTW:
I have been playing CS:S since last April and have only encountered this problem once and it was fixed easily.
all i did was "ReportBug" in title screen and it was fixed within a few days.
i tried this again on Sunday evening and now i cant even get to the title screen because of some reason i haven figured out yet.
