Promotion Recommendations

When I check the drop box and see this.

Jill recommending a promotion for Jack.

And right below it is.

Jack recommending a promotion for Jill.

It looks a little suspicious. I'm not saying it CAN'T happen. Or that it won't happen. But it's been happening a lot. Promotion recommendations are not to be traded. If you decide with someone that you should recommend each other to get promoted it will only end up in anything but a promotion.\

Again, I'm not saying it won't happen, or that it can't, but it is a big red flag and makes us look further into it. Promotions aren't something to be taken this lightly.

Yea anyway, you dont need to tell your friend: "OMG I R RECOMMENDZ U. U RECOMMENDZ ME?"

Its sad that people feel the need to "stack" promo recommendations. You want to get promoted? Here's a tip: Fill servers, be active on forum, come to Ventrilo, follow the rules.

Not only does it look suspicious but it also doesn't make much sense to me. You would think you need a recommendation from someone of a higher rank than you, not from someone of equal or even a lower rank.

yeah. Promotions are earned, not just given to. You have to work for it. Then the whole system would fall if that were to happen

Its pretty pathetic in my eyes that people think they have to do this. A promotion is earned, and a drop box post should only be made by someone if the person truly deserves it. Such a shame that this is happening.
