What did you get for Christmas?

well, there's more to the story. Point being that my little sister got a laptop and stuff she really wanted, my brother got stuff he really wanted including a payment of 300 euro's for his new TV, but when I'm asking for something that's around 20 - 30 euro's they start complaining it's to expensive.

Also, both my parents and my brother started to complain that it was so hard to buy something for me, and when I told em what I wanted, they said it was to expensive as said above. Now the most idiotic thing was, that my brother had been yelling that the mousepad was way to expensive, but the day before christmas, he suddenly decided to perhaps buy one, and instead of buying me the one I wanted, he got me some kinda crappy thing that'll most likely break after a week. So after the presents got opened, he was kinda disappointed that I already had a mousepad...well how would that have happend?

point is, is that I'm taking all the trouble to listen what they want and try to make em as happy as I can by buying as much of the things they want, and when I ask for something, they give me a no. That's why I'm kinda pissed, gives me the feeling that I'm worth nothing, seeing as the same happens with my birthday.

but it's only for my family though, I still buy presents for friends

it seems everything is made with ipod in mind these days, which sucks. i can't connect the zune i got for free to my bravia home theater system :-(

still, man, a lot of people got freakin awesome gifts. i didn't get anything too extravegant (spelling)((mentioned what i got in prev post) but i'm glad i got to spend time with my family and little cousins, that's probably one of the best gifts. and still the G of course xD

just curious..what's so special bout that mousepad? and i understand where you're coming from, it can be frustrating to pour your heart out for people's gifts and get a paper-weight in return, but the important thing is family. cherish these moments, cuz some day they'll be gone..

some ppl spend 50 bucks on beer what I find a complete waste... (I dont drink ) beer will be good for a few hours, this mousepad will be good for the next few years

Yeah i had a great time with my family and cuzins (when i mean great i really mean it!) so fun but i was disspointed i only got an ipod D:! But i still got something i guess.

I got some Insinia speakers ( I have not had workin speakers in the 6 months ) a wireless mouse and keyboard , Left 4 dead 2 , Sony IPod doc , some Abercombie sweatshirts (one makes me look like a bumblebee), AND the best of all the LG Xenon

I got some money (that I spent already), some electronics components for a project I'm working on (a one wheeled segway scooter), a dremel (my favorite tool of all time), a bunch of books, a talking alarm clock, Star trek movie, a nerf gun, and chop sticks from Cambodia
