Merry Christmas guys, I thought I would give this gift to all of you spies who are new to the class or have played the class and cant find a way to be agressive with this class. I will try to my fullest to try and tell you how I play agressive as spy and who knows it may help you guys out.
1. Infiltration:
I personally use the C&D to and its ability to stay fully cloaked at all times to my advantage, but I never stay in 1 place longer than I have to. The C&D allows you to rush through your opponants and get behind them. This is when you strike. Always attack from behind and work your way forward, if you fail stab (i cannot stress this enough) do not keep trying, you will die. Instead keep moving forward, you may die but you will kill a few more infront of you.
2. Recon:
This is very important as a spy, While making your way behind your enemies keep an eye out for enemy spies and let your team know what they are disguised as. Let your team know where sentries are and what level they are at. If you spot sticky traps let your team know where they are at as well.
3. Engies:
Engies (depending on the map) usually are left behind by thier team, they sit by thier sentry or get bored and leave (at times). Learn how to stab then sap. Engis usually build sentry in front of them and a dispencer on the side or behind them. Either way jump on the dispencer or sentry and jump on the engis head. Uncloak and stab then sap. Sometimes (rarely does this happen, but it happens) You can sap their entrance tele and stand on it cloaked and when the engi breaks the sapper, you might tele frag them(if you fail, run while cloaked ASAP).
4. Bait your enemy:
If you know how to bait then stab or if you know how to stair stab, this is a very powerful way to kill your enemy easily. For the bait and stab, while running away turn a corner and hug the wall but dont run past the corner. Just stay out of sight of the enemy running at you, then quickly run back out the way you came and back stab your enemy. Your enemy usually hugs the corner while turning and when you run back out you end up side stabbing them if done right...I will post a preview vid here and at the end of the vid you can see the bait and stab---> LINK: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0pIe4_5LYzM[/ame] Stair stabs are a bit difficult if you are a beginner, but practice makes perfect. Stand at the bottom of the stairs, slope, rail, anything really that makes you a bit higher than your enemy and wait till they run towards you, depending on how fast the class is will depend on when you jump. Never bring a knife to a gun fight:
Learn to use your revolver or ambassador properly, this can save your life. In those situations when you cant stab and sap, learn to sap and shoot. 3 shots from a regular revolver (I think) will kill an engi, 1 head shot and 1 body shot will kill an engi with the ambassador. The Revolver and Ambassador are very good weapons against any class that knows you are an enemy, while running away put away your knife and bring out your gun and unload a few shots and watch them drop like flies. Ive gotten pretty good with the ambassador and get a headshot about 80% of the time, usually that is enough to deter any opponant and will turn and run away.
Dead Ringer Spy
1. Disguises:
As a DR spy you have to rely on one of 2 things to get behind enemy lines. A.) Disguise as a friendly class and die on purpose leaving a dead body behind and use ur cloak to get behind your enemies. B.) Rely on enemy disguise and usually take the long way around to get behind enemy lines.
2. Torture your enemies:
Do not let any spy or any person tell you that the DR is a noob spy weapon. They just dont know how to use it properly is all. I had this happen to me about 2 days ago
. I wont mention any names so =(eG)=™Saeten is safe and wont be mentioned here...lol. I was demo and he called me out, saying i was a noob spy. Needless to say I went spy, doubled 2nd place's points on my team and nearly trippled his and he got happy when he killed me 1 time 
. DR is a very powerful tool if used right, here is how I use it agressively.
3. Die another day:
This watch gives you a get out of death free card, Always, and I mean Always have the watch out until you are ready to attack. After the attack even though noone is around, always act like someone is around and bring the watch out as fast as you can. This will save your life alot of times, get into the habit of doing that.
4. Learn the lay of the land: Know where and use every metal object or pack around to refill your DR, this is very helpful when being chased and when you need to use the DR more than 1 time.
5. Illusion:
Attack the same way as stated above, when you cant attack from behind attack the people upfront and use the DR to cloak and then move backward behind your enemies and then attack from behind.
