Hey This ain't really a problem but it's getting kinda odd. What ever is in my X drive has blue lettering for it's title. Anyone one know why it's like this and is there a way I can change it to standard black?

I've got Windows 7 Pro 64-bit

Hopefully thats big enough!

I don't know about Windows 7, but in XP, if a folder is compressed, it will be shown in blue font.

Open a folder, click tools, folder options, and decheck "show encrypted/compressed in color".

That should fix it.

My idea didn't work

hmmmm well i have the same situation as you and my solution didn't work lol

Files in blue are NTFS compressed files. Files in green are encrypted files. If you don't want NTFS compressed files/encrypted files to be shown in a different color, follow this steps:

1. Open Windows Explorer.

2. Click Organize, Folder and Search options.

3. Choose the View tab.

4. Click to deselect Show encrypted or compressed NTFS files in color check box.

5. Click OK.
