Warpath is Back!

​

'Twas the night after Christmas when all through ventril'
Leadership was meeting, even the council
Servers were discussed and the auctions came up
And we noticed that Warpath gave us some punch

eGO's were playing all over TF2
Except for one server, empty all through
Then in the leadership channel there arose such a clatter
That we all stopped talking to see what was the matter

Somebody suggested we change a server to Warpath
So that members could play it without giving up cash
TF2 leaders all agreed and council did as well
Warpath was going up, Dustbowl farewell

Garden spoke not a word, but went straight to his work
Took down Dustbowl/Gravelpit, and turned with a jerk
And with a flick of his mouse upon his cold desk
Loaded Warpath on the server and wished us his best

He sprang to the ROFLCopter, and started his flight
And almost crashed it again, giving us a fright
But I heard him exclaim as he flew out of sight
Merry Chirstmas to eGO and Warpath fans, good night!


Warpath is now up on the old Dustbowl/Gravelpit server!!

The map did so well on the auction server we decided to install it on a 24/7 server!

I was wondering why the server was called Warpath2 - ie 2fort IR 1 and 2. Now I see why...

Well, I based it on The Night Before Christmas, obviously, but I managed to get it knocked out last night, with a little proofreading from Scrappy to make sure it sounded good.

I third this. I tend not to play custom maps like Black Mesa. Gravelpit was one of my homes, and Dustbowl was my second. I've now become a TF2 hobo, doomed to wander the other maps with my camper van.

I'm not cheesed about warpath TBH, I was hoping for one of the new maps in the recent release to go up. Its a good map but the same old thing gets tiring after awhile.
